For too long now the congestion on the northern end of Woone Lane, between Eshton Terrace and the Brown Cow, has been getting worse and worse.
With cars parked on both sides it is impossible for vehicles to travel in both directions at any one time.
When larger and longer vehicles try and pass along the road then it becomes quite common for the 200m length of road to be blocked for up to 15 minutes.
County Cllr. Allan Knox said: " In recent weeks I have been contacted by both the police and senior officers at Ribble Valley about the congestion that arises here.
"Everyone I speak tells me how dreadful things are here. The county highways department needs to take action and make the road one-way."
I/we the undersigned believe that the continuing congestion on Woone Lane between Eshton Terrace and the Brown Cow, has now reached the stage where it is intolerable and call upon Lancashire County Council's Highways Department to act to make the street one way.
