Petition to B&NES Council
WE the undersigned wish to petition Bath & NE Somerset (B&NES) Council to consider ways to make the lower Wells Rd in Bath a safer place for pedestrians to cross. The recent fatal accident involving a local man trying to cross here has highlighted concerns previously raised about the speed of traffic at this point. Measures we would like to see brought in could include a controlled pedestrian crossing and/or speed cameras. We understand that B&NES Council will be conducting a pedestrian survey, and we urge that a study of traffic speed also be carried out.
