Mark Blackburn lives in St John's Wood and is campaigning for our community

St John's Wood Barracks will close and be demolished after the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery move to new accommodation in 2012. Liberal Democrats want to make sure what comes next is right for our area and enhances our community.

"This is a prime site and though the initial plans were rejected by the council, the Eyre Estate still intend to build high and dense," says local parliamentary campaigner Mark Blackburn. "I know many local residents are still deeply unhappy and I am calling for the redevelopment of the site to be reasonable in scale and in keeping with the surrounding streets."

If you agree - please sign our petition.

We the undersigned support Mark Blackburn and Westminster Liberal Democrats' campaign to ensure the Barracks redevelopment in St John's Wood is in keeping with the area and adds to the local community.
