Liberal Democrat Amy Kitcher is leading the campaign to save services at Prince Charles Hospital
The future is looking bleak for Prince Charles Hospital.
It is becoming increasingly likely that the Merthyr Tydfil hospital will lose some of its departments in a 'downgrade' plan that was put forward recently.
This would mean local people having to travel to Llantrisant or Cardiff to receive certain treatments.
It's possible that Prince Charles Hospital could lose its cancer care provision, its children's ward and maybe its maternity services too.
We simply must not let this happen.
Amy Kitcher, Lib Dem candidate for the Welsh Assembly says, "Merthyr deserves better than a second rate health service.
"The people of Merthyr deserve the best possible treatment and to a lot of people that means local treatment.
"I am fighting for Prince Charles Hospital - and I am fughting for Merthyr".
Please sign our petition to save services at Prince Charles Hospital, before it is too late.

I, the undersigned, object to the proposal to downgrade Prince Charles Hospital.
NHS care in our community would be severely damaged by any decision to close or substantially reduce the services available at Prince Charles Hospital. We urge the Welsh Assembly Government not to downgrade our hospital. Instead, to work towards safeguarding and improving services at Prince Charles Hospital for future generations.
