Labour’s Post Office closure plan came to Hamble with a vengeance this week with news that the Post Office in The Square is part of the 2,500 Post Office closure plan.

Butlocks Heath Post Office is also set to close. At the moment the Coronation

Parade Post Office is not threatened. But there are no guarantees.

Local Lib Dem MP Chris Huhne is campaigning to save our post office.

"It’s vital to our community", said Chris, "and many people rely on the services our post office provides. We must fight to save it!"

Chris has launched this petition and website to help get a change of heart from postal bosses.
