Caroline Pidgeon and Chris Nicholson are campaigning against the closure of Acre Lane post office
The post office at 154 Acre Lane is to be closed as the Government and the Post Office push ahead with their plan to close around 2,500 post offices around the country.

Local Liberal Democrat campaigners, Caroline Pidgeon and Chris Nicholson, are leading the fight to oppose this closure. Here's how you can help them:

Sign the petition below against closing Acre Lane Post Office
Let's end the Government a strong message that closing this post office is unnecessary and unacceptable

Write to the national consultation team at consultation@postoffice.co.uk.
Explain how much you use Abbeville Road  post office
and how difficult it will be for you to get to another branch

Send a letter to the local papers
Tell them about how damaging this closure will be for our local community
We, the undersigned, call on the government to halt plans to close any more post offices, and to keep our local post office on 154 Acre Lane Road open for business.
