The Government is expected to consult on whether or not to expand Heathrow airport in September 2007. It is essential that as many residents as possible oppose the scheme so that we can send a clear message to government that we say NO to more planes.
We are facing a crucial time in the fight against Heathrow expansion. Please encourage your friends, neighbours and family to sign up to the petition. In this way, when the time is right, we will be able to mobilise as many people as possible against the airport.

Please also don’t forget to complain if flights, especially night flights are disturbing your sleep by emailing noise_complaints@baa.com
We call on the Government to stop the expansion of Heathrow by maintaining runway alternation and not building runway 3 and terminal 6.
Runway alternation means that residents do get some restbite from aircraft landings and take offs. Alternating runways means that there are quiet periods in either the mornings or the afternoon.
We don't believe Heathrow should be expanded to include either a new 3rd runway or a brand new terminal 6. Any increase in capacity will further exacerbate the noise and environmental pollution in the skies surrounding Heathorw.
We also believe that night flights should be stopped. At present there are on average 3250 night flights per year many of which are nightmare for local residents.
