Verwood is the biggest town with the largest proportion of school aged people in the North Dorset constituency. But it has no facilities for educating teenagers within the town itself. Instead, they are bussed to Ferndown or Wimborne at great cost to parents and the tax payer. This is not good for our teenagers’ education nor is it good for the environment. We believe Verwood and Three X must have its own school for over thirteen year olds – preferably with appropriate facilities such as a swimming pool which can be made available for public use.

We the undersigned call on Dorset County Council to build a new school in Verwood for the town’s teenagers.
