For some time now our local shops in Kings Road have been struggling. Your local Liberal Democrats are looking to work with businesses and groups to see if we can develop a landmark, neighbourhood centre.

Councillors Jude Deakin and Graham Pooley are looking to work with the Co-op, other retailers and other property owners including the United Reformed Church.

They want a plan to put to the Council to unlock the potential of the area. With imagination, there may be the opportunity to make this whole corner a landmark neighbourhood centre. Hopefully with shops and other facilities to meet a whole variety of our local needs.

Please sign the petition below.

We the undersigned call on Chelmsford Council to consider making Kings Road / North Avenue corner a landmark, neighbourhood centre, and to make no decisions on the future of the disused allotment site to the rear until this has been done.
