The Highways Agency is planning to restrict access to the M25 at Watford resulting in the likelihood of increased congestion on the slip road to Junction 19.  This will force residents to endure the daily misery of delayed journeys on local roads with further negative effects across the town.

Local Conservatives have said that residents will simply have to 'live with' the impact of a decision, which is currently causing huge congestion each day at the Hunton Bridge roundabout and causing rat-running across the area. Lib Dem councillors do not believe that this is an appropriate response.

You can express your concern by signing the petition below as soon as possible; this will allow us to put pressure on the Highways Agency and persuade them to examine the impact of the scheme on local residents and roads before it is too late.
