Many local residents are backing the call for an extension of the H98 bus service to link the Hillingdon East area with the Central line at West Ruislip.

 

Vic Stoneham said “Although Hillingdon Station is within walking distance, many people want to get to the Central line with its fast service into London, and the main line to Marylebone and out to High Wycombe and beyond. The recent opening of the Westfield shopping centre at Shepherds Bush and new transport interchanges nearby add to the need. And if the H98 came through here, people could easily go south to Hayes and Hounslow. The U2 is all we’ve got and that just goes round locally.”

 

Martin Clark added, “Providing people with the bus service they need is a “green” solution too. It would help cut car journeys and reduce the gridlock we often see on the estate. I hope people will sign our petition so we can show TfL that people really want this change."
