Reading Borough Council has revealed it has no plans to resurface any roads in the Redlands area during the next financial year (2008/9).

We believe that a number of roads in the area are dangerous to road users and should receive urgent attention. If you agree please sign the petition below!

We the undersigned wish to register our anger at the Council's decision not to bring forward any upgrade works in our area during the period 2008/9 and call on Reading Borough Council's Highways Department to review this decision and urgently undertake works to the substandard road surface which is hazard to road users on the following roads in Redlands ward as a priority: Blenheim Road, Carnarvon Road, De Beauvoir Road, Donnington Gardens, Hatherley Road, Hexham Road and Malvern Court.
