Peckham Rye Liberal Democrats are calling on Transport for London to increase the length of the number 63 bus route.

The route currently runs from Kings Cross to Forest Hill Road. If it carried on another 3 stops, over a steep hill, it would reach Honor Oak Park station, which from June 2010 will be part of the Overground Network.

South London needs to make sure that the public transport network is as interconnected as possible, to make it easy to use and to encourage people to make the switch from their cars.

And although this is a Liberal Democrat campaign, please sign even if you're not normally a Lib Dem supporter - we want to work with as many people as possible to make this change happen. We won't contact you about things unrelated to this campaign, unless you want us to!

We the undersigned call on Transport for London to listen to the views of local people and extend the number 63 bus route to Honor Oak Park station, thereby giving residents a direct link to their nearest train station.
