As local Health Boards in the Gwent area argue to cut evening and weekend health services, local Liberal Democrats describe the proposals as a "serious backward step for the NHS".

At present GP Out-of-Hours services are provided for Southern Monmouthshire at Chepstow Community Hospital.

The five health boards for Gwent want to transfer this service to St. Woolos Hospital in Newport.

Local Liberal Democrats see this as a further reduction in NHS services for Chepstow and Caldicot.

You can support the campaign to stop this reduction in our NHS service that we all pay for by signing the on-line petition.
I, the undersigned, object to the proposal to relocate weekend and evening GP services from Chepstow Community Hospital to Newport.
