Cornwall’s five Liberal Democrat MPs have taken their battle to win fairer water charges for Cornish people a step further.

Following pressure from the MPs, the Government has ordered an independent review of water charges and how they are calculated.

Following another above inflation rise in bills in February, the average unmetered water bill in Cornwall will rise to a whopping £697 per year, the highest bills in the UK.

Now you can help to keep the pressure on Ministers by signing our petition today!

I/we the undersigned call on the Government to urgently introduce a fairer system of water bill charges which does not unfairly penalise Cornish customers for the maintenance of our beaches, a resource that is used by the whole nation.
