NHS Nottinghamshire County are currently conducting a Public Consultation into the future of the Stapleford NHS Walk-in Centre. Their preferred option is to close the Walk-in Centre in Stapleford and provide additional walk-in facilities at the A&E department at QMC, some 6 miles away from the current location.
There are 5 options in the Public Consultation
The options provided by NHS Nottinghamshire County are:
1) No Change
2) Expand the Walk-in Centres
3) Integrate the Walk-in Centre and A&E department (at QMC)
THIS IS THE PREFERRED OPTION OF NHS NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY which means closure of the centre in Stapleford.
4) Walk-in Centre closure.
5) Public suggestions.
You can have your say, as the consultation document will be available from libraries; GP surgeries or from one of us from 1st November.

It is vital that Nottinghamshire County NHS understand the depth of anger around the proposed changes to the Walk-In Centre.

Printed copies will be available available in GP surgery's, libraries and also us from November 1st 2010.
Sign the Petition
We shall be out and about collecting names of those who oppose the closure of the Stapleford Walk in Centre,and this petition will be presented to Notitnghamshire County NHS at a public meeting on January 11th, at St Helen's Church Hall (6-8pm).
