The site is part of the world-wide effort to focus attention on the plight of the people of the Darfur region of Sudan.

Following the death of Adam Osman Mohammed – a failed Asylum Seeker from the UK, Liberal Youth is collecting 3000 signatures, one for every Aslym Seeker in the UK at risk of deportation back to Darfur, where they will face torture and death.

We will take this petition to the heart of government to demand that they cease efforts to send Asylum Seekers from Darfur back to the Sudan.

As many as 2.5 million people have been displaced while estimates of the number of dead range from 200,000 to 400,000.

It's genocide and some of the most powerful leaders in the world have acknowledged it as such. We will not stand idly by as the government washes its hands of its responsibilities.
