NHS hospitals made over £110m in parking charges last year, Liberal Democrat research has revealed.
The figures show that visitors were charged £84 million in parking fees and NHS staff were charged £28 million.
Locally it can cost up to £5 a day to park at Princess Alexandra hospital in Harlow and up to £15 a day to park at Whipps Cross.
Patients can also be charged high prices for bedside TV and phone services.
Demand a fairer deal by signing Ann Haigh's petition asking the local NHS to re-consider its charging arrangements.
