The Cabinet Members of Worthing decided on 2nd February 2009 in the light of a flawed consultation not to support the proposal for an adventure playground on Goring Greensward!

£200,000 has been won from the BIG Lottery fund (play scheme) to put in three exciting new play areas for kids in Worthing over the next two years.

Two of them, costing £50k each, have already opened - a multi-use games area at Tarring Recreation Ground and a brand new playground at Longcroft Park.

WHY NOT GORING!

The remaining £100K earmarked for a new adventure play facility on Goring Greensward could be lost.
Residents can play a valuable part in helping to keep this area free from development and decide the best place to site the play area.
