Labour promised to Camden tenants £283million to bring our homes up to standard and has not handed it over.

Since 1997 the Labour Government has sold over 4,000 of Camden's homes and has pocketed the money.

Under Labour’s Right to Buy scheme almost all the money from Right to Buy goes straight to Government coffers. The Lib Dems believe all money from Right to Buy should go to the local council and should be spent on building more affordable homes for local people.

We call on Gordon Brown to give us our money back! We call on the Labour Government to earmark all Right to Buy money for local councils to build homes for local people.
