ASDA pull out of Post Office Talks

Councillor Brian Gurden can reveal that after 9 months of negotiations, ASDA has turned down an approach by the Post Office to relocate the "temporarily closed" post office inside the supermarket.

What Happens Now ?

We are now stepping up the pressure on the Post Office to negotiate and relocate the post office into the vacant unit 8 at the Brighton Hill Centre. We have passed full details of this unit to senior Post Office decision makers in London.

We are raising this unacceptable situation directly at the highest level with the Post Office Board. Please sign our online petition below.

We urge the Post Office to negotiate and relocate the profitable Brighton Hill post office into the vacant unit 8 at the Brighton Hill Centre in Basingstoke.

"We are still hopeful that the Post Office will reopen in Brighton Hill. It is such a shame that the Post Office has wasted so much time. We would like to thank residents for their patience and support." says Brian Gurden on behalf of your Lib Dem team.
