Our Market is Already Super!
 
The proposal for a new Sainsbury's store on Mare Street at Ash Grove is not needed, not wanted and bad for our area.

A supermarket on this site will mean noise and disruption for residents and could cause parking chaos in surrounding streets.
 
We don't want Hackney to become a Clone Town. We think the special characters of South Hackney and London Fields is worth fighting for - when supermarket chains move in, local independent shops and communities suffer. We don't want that to happen here.

I oppose the plans for a new supermarket at Ash Grove on Mare Street and the noise, traffic and damage to local businesses that this will cause.

I want to keep Well Street and Broadway Markets at the heart of our neighbourhoods. Our markets are already super!
