Over the past 20 years, a disproportionate amount of housing development has taken place in the Abbots Langley area. Now a majority of the homes forced upon Three Rivers by Government targets is coming our way.

Abbots Langley is becoming overcrowded. Our schools are overflowing, the medical facilities are busy, the roads are gridlocked. We cannot take thousands more homes.

We object to the volume of homes proposed for the area and in particular sites on undeveloped Green Belt land at Love Lane, Woodside Road, Bedmond & Toms Lane and either side of the M25.

We believe that with the Abbots Langley area having absorbed the majority of housing development over the past 20 years, that it cannot continue to disproportionately accept further Government imposed development for the next 20 years.

In particular, we object to proposals for homes on land at Love Lane, Woodside Road and on the undeveloped Green Belt land around the northern and eastern edges of Abbots Langley and in Bedmond village and Toms Lane.
