You may remember Lynne Featherstone MP and the Lib Dems' long running and ultimately successful campaign to get a bus introduced running from Muswell Hill to Swiss Cottage - the 603. That route is now an everyday part of people's lives (albeit still only at school peak travel hours).

It was therefore alarming to hear that not only is the 603 up for review but that residents' views had not been sought. Given the importance of this route to local people Lynne Featherstone MP has now written to the Commissioner of Transport for London, Peter Hendy, insisting that we be given time to make our feelings known.

If you would like to stand up for local bus services please sign the petition expressing your support and we will forward this to the Commissioner. Please also let me know if you'd be able to deliver leaflets in your local area to spread the word further, you can do this by dropping us an email at lynne@lynnefeatherstone.org or by using the website - www.lynnefeatherstone.org.

We, the undersigned, call for the 603 bus service to be retained and extended into a regular service throughout the day.
